Flattern point 3. Sew the ends of two point 1s to the edges of point 3 at rows 13-14. Sew the ends of two point 2s to the edges of point 3 at rows 10-11. Sew the end of point 3 to the top edge of the main shoe. After assembling pony, put shoes onto hooves and sew in place, curving point 2s downwards into correct shape.

Assembly:

(All the positions given are approximate - pin your princess together and experiment to see what looks best!)

Legs to body - the starting point of the body is the front, the line of decreases should go underneath. On the legs, place the line of decreases to the front. Tuck in 2-4 rows of the inner edges of the legs before sewing to prevent the legs from tilting outwards too far. Make sure the legs are firmly stuffed right to the top.
Front legs - front edges attached at the 9th/10th round of the body, back edges at the 18th.
Back legs - front edges should be attached at 24th round of the body, back edges at the 35th. Flattern the area between the hock and the top of the leg so it is widest when viewed from the side. Upper edges about 2/3 up the side of the body.
Neck to body - broadest side of the neck to the front, widest end to the body. Attach the front edge of the neck at the 2nd round of the body.
Nose to head - (I prefer to have the head's starting point at the back and cover the finishing point with the nose, but if you do put the finishing point at the back of the head, it'll be covered by the mane) Stuff the nose, sew to the centre of the front of the head.
Ears to head - Do not stuff ears, flatten, curve inwards, sew to back of head. Edges should be at the 6th rounds from the back of the head, the back of the ear should be at the 3rd round from the back of the head.
Crown to head - Place 2 rounds in front of the ears. Curve slightly.
Horn to head - Place 1 round in front of the crown.
Neck to head - Stuff the neck before attaching the head.

Closed Wings - (I recommend attaching the wings AFTER the mane, tail and cutie mark) Attach the front half of the top edge of the wings only. Attach to the sides of the body towards the front, an equal distance between the neck and the tops of the front legs. The front edges of the wings should be at round 8 of the body.
Open Wings - (I recommend attaching the wings AFTER the mane, tail and cutie mark) Attach rounds 39 - 45 of the main wings only. Attach to the sides of the body towards the front, an equal distance between the neck and the tops of the front legs.

Mane and Tail:
Leave long tail for sewing
Make a chain a little longer than you want your finished mane or tail to be. Turn.
Work back up the chain, 1 sc in each chain, until you reach the starting point. Make another chain. Repeat until you have enough for your mane or tail.
Sew onto pony.

Eyes and Cutie Mark - I used felt and embroidery thread. If you prefer, you could also use fabric paint/pens.

    2. Wow...really? I grant you they are similar but the hair is different, the neck is longer, the head placement is slightly different, the legs are different, the wings are different and the shoes are totally different. Do you have proof that it was stolen? Lots of people get inspired by what they see and create things similar. SMH

    3. How many different ways ARE there to crochet a my little pony ? Just because she interpreted a character and made a pattern similar to someone elses does not mean she stole it. Rude.
And a beautiful pattern by the way, I am going to make one.

I'm still making here but with woton yarn, I have to make some adjusments, like for the legs, front and back, because I can't strech coton to sew parts like you said in the pattern. 16. Thank you for sharing your lovely patterns with the world. I finished my Celestia just last night... I'm thinking of making the others too... The set of crochet hooks my hubby got me for my B-day last year was the best thing ever. Of all the hobbies I keep busy with crocheting and making amigurumi is my favourite... Thank you again for sharing your beautiful patterns and work with everyone.

  21. I tried to follow the pattern and the proportions are just not right. The legs are too long for the body and the head too small. I am now new to amigurumi and this is simply not right.

  22. Hi, I’m having a difficult time with the neck as well. Rows 6-8 are confusing to me.
Also, I’m using the recommended hook size, and my project is looking quite a bit larger than yours in the picture. I’m going to continue, and see how it turns out before I frog it.
Thank you so much for this pattern :)

    1. Rows 6 to 8 are rows, not rounds. This is part of what gives the next the graceful bend.
